Call of the Night Season 2 (よふかしのうた Season2 Yofukashi no Uta Season 2?) is the second season of the anime adaptation. It was announced in March 2024. On March 13, 2025, a teaser PV[1] and key visual[2] were released, confirming that the season is set to premiere on July 2025, airing every Friday at 23:30 JST. The second season began airing from July 4, 2025 to September 19, 2025.
Synopsis[]
“The night is far from over.”
Having overcome his hesitation about becoming a vampire, Kou Yamori has made up his mind—he wants to fall in love with Nazuna. Meanwhile, Nazuna is determined to make him fall for her. Though neither of them fully understands what "love" truly means, their nights together only grow more intense.
Lurking in the shadows is detective Anko Uguisu, who is plotting to exterminate vampires. Their weakness? Something they held dear in their human lives. Anko hunts vampires by destroying those precious connections before they can be used against them. But Nazuna has no memories of her human past.
What secrets lie buried in Nazuna’s forgotten history? Why does Anko seek to kill vampires?
And what hidden truth ties Nazuna and Anko together?
